Lauren’s favorite roles include Officer Barrel in Urinetown and Young Woman in a staged reading of Neil LaBute’s Autobahn. When not acting, she runs, does Tae-bo, bakes, visits art museums, and reads french novels.
Artistic things that I’m most proud of doing are being in the band buddha Deep in Berkeley, California, being in the band Mr. K and the Vitamins, and performing in a dress in high school. When I’m not rehearsing and performing, I like to run, backpack and study hebrew.
Andrew’s two favorite shows that he’s previously appeared in are Miss Saigon and The Last Five Years. When not acting in wiener-sausage musicals, he enjoys going to the beach and playing basketball.
James’ favorite acting roles were for Perceptions and Agenda. When not performing on stage, he’s producing movies and writing.
Mike’s two favorite roles were the parts he played in Pisaro de Fogo and Ragtime. When not acting, he is often found clubbing, and he likes martial arts because it gives him decent coordination after said clubbing.
Kate’s most venerable performances were her roles in Floss! and Tales from Mom’s Crypt at Chicago’s esteemed Cornservatory Theater. Kate also plans extravagant corporate soirees and enjoys designing elaborate halloween costumes.
You may have seen Shelby around town in various productions; most recently as Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre. She has also performed at the Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, and many others.
Carlos’ two favorite roles he’s played are Leading Player in Pippin and George Deever in All My Sons. Outside of acting, he tries to find “regular” jobs and fails, and likes to fight the man or the powers that be.
Musicians:
Paul performs around the East Coast both solo and as part of the Paul Joyner Band. His two favorite things to do besides music are riding his bike around D.C. and producing visual art.
Danny has been in bands called The Kappatalists and The Science Project. His favorite thing to do besides playing live music is seeing live music.
David leads his piano-power-trio band Doc Volatile. He also did stage management for The Offspring and got to hang backstage with Cher and Cyndy Lauper, who were “a fun, crazy, and down-to-Earth pair of babes.”
